Does ACBuy charge a service fee on spreadsheet orders?

Accepted Answer

Not on the regular platforms. ACBuy's fee page states that it does not charge any service fee for orders from Taobao, Tmall, 1688, JD, Pinduoduo or Vipshop. Orders from its six "special" platforms — Xianyu, Paipai, Zhuanzhuan, Douyin, Xiaohongshu and Youzan — cost ¥10 (about $1.40) per item. The published formula is total cost = product cost + international shipping, where product cost is the item price plus domestic shipping to ACBuy's warehouse, and the international shipping charge bundles the base freight, a ¥10–30 customs declaration fee, an ¥8 warehouse operation fee and any optional add-ons. One thing to watch: ACBuy's displayed foreign-currency prices include a currency markup. On 13 April 2026 a ¥168 item showed as $28.75, an implied rate of 5.84 CNY per USD against a mid-market rate of 6.83, roughly 17% above market. Budget in CNY if you want the exact figure.

Which Chinese shopping platforms does ACBuy support?

Accepted Answer

ACBuy officially lists six regular platforms — Taobao, Tmall, 1688, JD (Jingdong), Pinduoduo and Vipshop — which is broader than most buying agents, since it includes the mainstream Chinese retail apps rather than only Taobao and 1688. Its fee page adds six special platforms at ¥10 per item: Xianyu, Paipai, Zhuanzhuan, Douyin, Xiaohongshu and Youzan. If you cannot find an item, you can commission ACBuy to source a quality merchant for you, or bring a listing you found through social media. Weidian is not on the published list, but a Weidian product link opened and priced normally on ACBuy's product page when we tested it in April 2026. ACBuy also runs a separate forwarding service: buy from any Chinese seller yourself, ship to ACBuy's warehouse, and use the same storage and consolidation flow.

How long will ACBuy store my items, and what does QC cover?

ACBuy stores items free for 90 days from check-in and lets you apply for shipping at any time during that period. According to its shopping guide, storage can be extended for up to 90 more days at a fee, with a 28-day buffer, and goods still unshipped after the 180-day limit are destroyed. Warehouse check-in covers receiving, inspection, weighing, photos and stock-in. The homepage advertises three to five free QC photos per item (the guide says three). Paid extras include a Customized Photos service and Priority Stock-in / Stock-out. VIP members from Tier 2 upward also get free Rehearsal Parcels, a simulated packing service that estimates the final weight and shipping cost before you commit.

Where are ACBuy's users, and where do ACBuy spreadsheets circulate?

ACBuy's traffic is unusually evenly spread for a major buying agent. Similarweb data for the 28 days to 9 April 2026 puts the United States first at 16.09% of visits, followed by Canada (11.19%), the United Kingdom (9.52%), Poland (9.20%) and Germany (6.29%); the top five countries total only 52.29%. About 71% of visits come from desktop. Reddit drives 93.75% of ACBuy's social referrals, with YouTube at 4.21%. Among referring websites, allchinabuysheets.com — a directory of buying-agent spreadsheets — accounts for 20.94% of referral traffic and yupoo.com for 16.38%, and 88.78% of referring sites are in the fashion and apparel category. ACBuy supports eight interface languages (English, Spanish, Polish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese and Simplified Chinese), ten currencies including PLN, CAD, AUD, BRL and DKK, and runs a Discord server for its community and promoters.

How do I pay on ACBuy?

ACBuy works on a top-up model: you add funds to your ACBuy wallet, then pay for orders and shipping from the balance. International cards accepted are Visa, Mastercard and Discover. Local payment methods include Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL (Netherlands), BLIK (Poland), Pix (Brazil), PayU, Skrill, Trustly, Bancontact (Belgium), EPS (Austria) and Bancomat Pay (Italy); telegraphic transfer is also available. Funds normally arrive instantly, or within 1–5 business days in special cases. ACBuy recommends topping up a little more than the product price so the purchase does not fail on a small price difference. Unused balance can be withdrawn back to the original payment method, which takes 1–5 business days to process.

What does ACBuy's AC Care insurance cover?

Accepted Answer

AC Care Service is ACBuy's branded parcel insurance and covers three situations: delay, loss or damage, and customs seizure. For delays it refunds 20% of the shipping fee. For loss, damage or customs seizure it pays up to ¥7,000 for the goods plus up to ¥3,000 for the shipping cost. Pricing is a flat ¥20 per parcel when the insured value is ¥667 or less, and 3% of the parcel value above that; insured value can be set anywhere from ¥1 to ¥7,000. Claims must be filed within 30 days. Excluded categories include goods infringing intellectual property, identity documents, tickets, valuables, virtual goods, tobacco, medicines and chemicals. You can cancel the cover for a refund before the parcel ships, but not afterwards.

Will I pay customs duty on an ACBuy parcel?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the destination and the line. ACBuy publishes a per-country tariff threshold reference; for Switzerland, for example, it lists a customs duty threshold of 100 CHF and a VAT threshold of 65 CHF. ACBuy warns that Canadian and European customs inspect strictly, that commercial couriers such as DHL, UPS and FedEx are more likely to attract duty, that parcels of 10 kg or more are more easily classed as commercial goods, and that large quantities of the same item should not travel in one parcel. On lines that are not duty-free or IOSS-inclusive, clearance fees are the customer's responsibility, and a customs invoice can be downloaded from your account. Batteries are limited to two sets per parcel and power banks are not accepted. ACBuy also posts live logistics notices, such as a Middle East logistics alert, a European transit-delay notice and a Brazilian customs clearance explanation.
