Accepted Answer

Sugargoo does not publish a headline "zero service fee" policy, but its official Service & Fee page lists the cost of an order as product price + domestic shipping + international shipping, with no separately itemised agent commission. International shipping is broken down into the freight itself, a warehouse handling fee and any optional value-added services (vacuum packing, reinforced packing, insurance). The one fixed extra is a ¥8 packaging fee per outbound parcel. Currency conversion did not add a hidden markup in our spot check either: on 13 April 2026 a ¥168 Weidian item was displayed at $24.23, about 1.5% below that day's mid-market rate.

How long does Sugargoo store items, and what do the free QC photos cover?

Normal parcels are stored free for 100 days, counted from the "Has been Stored" status, which is the longest free window among the top-tier agents in our research. Parcels that arrive without a matching order or account are held for 60 days. After the deadline, items are treated as abandoned and destroyed without further notice, so set yourself a reminder. Warehouse QC checks appearance, model, style and size; staff remove the original packaging, reseal the item and upload seven free photos (five of the product, two of the package). Sealed products are not opened, and colour differences, minor measurement deviations, and the quality, internals or accessories of electronics and sealed collectibles are excluded from the check.

Where is Sugargoo most popular, and where do its spreadsheets circulate?

According to Similarweb data for the 28 days ending 10 April 2026, Sugargoo's traffic is led by the United States (about 21% of visits) and the United Kingdom (about 18%), followed by Australia (7.5%), Canada (6.7%) and Belgium (4.6%). Its community is strongly Reddit-based: roughly 75% of social referrals come from Reddit and 22% from YouTube, and Sugargoo runs an official subreddit (r/Sugargoo), a Discord server and the @SUGARGOOGlobal YouTube channel. The single largest external referrer is sugargoo-sheets.com, a third-party directory of Sugargoo spreadsheets that accounts for about 45% of referral traffic. Sugargoo also runs a five-tier affiliate programme that pays 4% to 9% of referred users' international shipping fees.

Which shopping sites does Sugargoo support?

Sugargoo's official FAQ lists Taobao, Tmall, JD, 1688, Weidian and Goofish (Xianyu, China's second-hand marketplace) as supported sources, and the homepage claims partnerships with 85 platforms in total. For sources that are not natively supported you can fill in a DIY Order form with the item details, and parcels you have already purchased can be sent straight to the warehouse using the Forwarding service. Sugargoo also operates SUGARFLEA, a separate second-hand marketplace where members resell items they no longer want.

Sugargoo accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB cards, and its Payment & Deposit page lists three ways to fund your balance: account balance, Alipay (no fee, credited within 1–60 minutes) and bank transfer to its USD, RMB or EUR accounts, which takes 5–15 business days to arrive. PayPal was marked temporarily unavailable in an April 2026 notice, and WeChat Pay is not yet offered. The homepage claims 25 payment methods in total.

How much does Sugargoo shipping cost, and how many routes are there?

Sugargoo advertises more than 2,000 shipping routes, the largest count of any agent in our research. On the Freight Estimate page the default recommended lines are priced in USD per 100 g or per 500 g: Royal Mail at $1.08/100 g (about 11 days), TOLL at $0.83/100 g (12 days), the EU IOSS-free and tax-free line at $5.77/500 g (12 days), DHL Duty Free-L at $4.97/500 g (30 days) and CA-Line at $8.08/500 g (35 days), with slower sea-freight versions of the EU line taking 60 or 100 days. Billable weight uses a volumetric divisor of 5000 on most lines (6000, 7000 or 8000 for some carriers), and a ¥8 packaging fee applies per parcel. Sugargoo says it picks lower-risk routes based on the goods but cannot guarantee zero customs risk.

It says it has over five years of operating history and publishes Android and iOS apps. Support is available by email at cs@sugargoo.com, via WhatsApp, and through the official Discord server and r/Sugargoo; the help centre lists support hours of 8:00–18:00, and the company page mentions an AI assistant for round-the-clock questions.
