Does Fsbuy charge a service fee?

It does not publish one. Its purchasing guide breaks the cost into the item price plus Chinese domestic shipping at checkout, then international freight prepaid later — there is no commission line and no fee schedule anywhere in its help centre. That does not make it free: its exchange rate carries a markup of roughly 7.9% over mid-market, which is on the higher side of the agents listed here. Compare agents on the CNY price and the rate you are charged, not on whether a service fee is advertised.

How long does Fsbuy store items for free?

90 days for shopping-agent parcels, counted from the day the order is marked “Warehoused”, plus a free three-day extension it grants automatically. After that there is a 28-day grace period in which you can still submit a parcel or pay an extension fee, and it emails and texts you seven days before expiry. The absolute ceiling is 180 days including grace — past that Fsbuy stops warehousing the item no matter what you pay, and anything unresolved is treated as abandoned. Parcels it only forwards get 60 days, and parcels signed for without a matching order get 30 days with no reminders at all.

How many free QC photos does Fsbuy give?

Three to five. The free inspection covers colour, large-area damage, stains, size, model and version number, shot from several angles — front, back, side and detail. Slight colour difference, exact measurement error and how the item performs in use are explicitly excluded. You can buy additional detailed photos if you want more than the free set.

Will Fsbuy power on electronics to check they work?

Not as part of the free check. Electronics and digital goods are inspected on appearance only — no power-on test, no accessory count inside a sealed box, no functional check — and the same applies to sealed goods like figures and CDs, which are not opened at all. Fsbuy does offer this as a paid add-on for high-value electronics: that service includes an accessory completeness check and a simple power-on test. If you are ordering electronics, ask for it before the parcel ships rather than after.

Which platforms can I buy from through Fsbuy?

Weidian, Taobao and 1688 links all open a full Fsbuy product page with variants ready to order, which covers the Weidian-sourced finds most spreadsheets point at. Its own guide also names Tmall, JD and Pinduoduo, and routes Xianyu and Pinduoduo through a manual DIY-order form where you fill in the details yourself. Note that 1688 listings often carry supplier minimum order quantities — check the threshold before ordering.

How does Fsbuy calculate international shipping?

Accepted Answer

On the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight, with each route carrying its own volumetric divisor, a minimum and maximum weight, and its own size limits. That means a light but bulky parcel can be priced well above its real mass, and which line is cheapest can change once dimensions are included. Its estimator is open without an account, and the per-route prices shown on this page are pulled from it with real dimensions rather than weight alone. You prepay an estimate; the warehouse re-weighs and re-measures at dispatch and the difference goes back to your balance.
