Accepted Answer

No. LitBuy publishes a "free shopping agent service" promise and markets itself as buying from China at 0% markup, so there is no commission on the purchase. The total cost of a spreadsheet order is the product cost (item price plus domestic shipping to LitBuy's warehouse), international shipping, and a customs declaration fee that is generally ¥10 and depends on the line. Do check the exchange rate LitBuy applies: on 13 April 2026 a ¥168 item was shown at $27.30, an implied 6.15 CNY per USD against a 6.83 mid-market rate, about 11% above interbank.

How long will LitBuy store my items, and what does the warehouse do?

LitBuy stores items for 120 days from the day they are checked in. The first 90 days are free; from day 91 you pay 0.2% of the item's price per day, with a minimum of ¥1 per item per day and a maximum of ¥300 per month. LitBuy sends three reminders (7 days, 3 days and on the day of expiry), and items still unpaid 30 days after expiry are destroyed. Abnormal parcels are held for 30 days. On arrival the warehouse inspects the item, takes quality-check photos on request, repacks it securely and records its weight. You can also return an item within 5 days of check-in, except custom-made, underwear, adult and food products.

LitBuy accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and Afterpay buy-now-pay-later, BLIK (Poland's instant payment scheme) and SEPA bank transfer. The site is available in eight languages (English, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese and Spanish) and can display prices in USD, EUR, PLN, CAD, AUD, BRL, MXN, NZD, DKK, NOK, KRW and CNY, among others.

Weidian is also LitBuy's largest inbound referrer, at roughly a quarter of its referral traffic. If you already have a Chinese shopping account, LitBuy's Forwarding Order option lets you ship parcels directly to its warehouse for consolidation.

Discord is by far the biggest outbound destination from litbuy.com at 46% of outbound clicks, so most day-to-day community activity happens on the official LitBuy Discord server, alongside the r/LitBuy_Community subreddit and LitBuy's TikTok account.

LitBuy's shipping policy quotes 1–3 business days of warehouse processing, then 8–16 business days to the United States, 7–14 to the European Union, 7–12 to the United Kingdom and 10–25 to other countries. On tax-free lines LitBuy handles import duties itself; on all other lines the recipient pays any customs charges at delivery. Tracking is updated within 48 hours, and any loss or damage claim must be raised within 7 days of signing for the parcel.
